The OXE Hybrid 450 offers all the benefits of an OXE Diesel outboard along with a fully electric propulsion system – providing full electric drive, increased fuel savings and additional range and power when needed. 

 The electric motor is strategically located under the cowling, connected to the drive-belt for seamless operation. Not only does this enhance performance, but it also allows the motor to serve as an alternator, providing the ability to charge the batteries while running in diesel mode. This advanced technology sets the OXE Hybrid 450 apart from the competition, offering a superior boating experience.

 The OXE300 is a high-performance diesel outboard engine designed to meet the toughest demands of commercial and recreational boaters. With 300 horsepower and 945Nm of torque at the propeller shaft, this engine offers exceptional power and speed, while reducing your overall fuel consumption and operating costs. 

 The OXE300 provides significantly more torque and reduced emissions, fuel consumption and operational costs compared to gasoline-fueled outboards. OXE300 consumes up to 46% less fuel compared to a 300hp gasoline outboard. Carbon dioxide is reduced by more than 35% (when biofuels are used net Carbon dioxide is reduced by up to 94,2%), carbon monoxide by more than 99%, and combined hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides by more than 70%. This reduction significantly contributes to a reduced environmental impact. Reduced fuel consumption combined with reduced drag extends the operational range by 87%.

 The powerhead of the OXE300 is a marinized bi-turbo automotive configuration that provides its full 680Nm (502ft-lb) of torque at the crankshaft already at 1750rpm, at 1000rpm the engine provides over 500Nm (369ft-lb). At the propeller shaft, the torque numbers translate to 945Nm (696ft-lb). These are torque numbers that were previously unheard of in the outboard industry and provide the user with massive bollard pulling power, as well as fast hole shot acceleration.

The reduced fuel consumption is a key factor to why the OXE Diesel engine emits significantly lower CO2 than a gasoline outboard engine. One liter of diesel produces approximately 2.69kg CO2 and one liter of gasoline produces 2.36kg CO2 when ignited. Since the OXE Diesel consumes up to 46% less fuel than comparable gasoline alternatives, the OXE Diesel reduces CO2 emissions by over 35.5%.

When fueled with BioDiesel, OXE300 reduce net CO2 by up to 94.2% compared to gasoline outboards.

The OXE200 is a high-performance diesel outboard engine that delivers exceptional power and fuel efficiency. With 200 horsepower, 900Nm of torque on the propeller shaft, and a direct fuel injection system, this engine offers impressive speed and acceleration, while reducing your overall fuel consumption and operating costs.

The OXE200 is the most powerful unit among the inline-four cylinder powerheads. It meets the demand of users who require high-speed capacity. It delivers 200hp and 415NM (306ft-lb) of torque. With the high torque gear ratio on the primary belt transmission, the unit delivers up to 900NM (664ft-lb) of torque on the propeller shaft.

The turbo and the gearbox of the OXE200 are further developed to withstand the increased torque and power. The oil fill has been significantly simplified and volume has been enlarged to maintain cool in high load long term cycles. The turbo has also been further developed to withstand the higher temperatures developed by the increased effect.

OXE DEFA engine preheating system provides the means to ensure ease of start-up and minimize warm-up period prior to a working schedule, increasing profitability and effectivity. It also offers protection in extreme cold environments overnight and during downtime via connection to mainland power supply. The compact element fits directly in to the engine block and is designed to ensure maximum surface contact between the element and coolant, thus reducing energy and heat loss. OXE DEFA engine heater reduces wear on the engine, lowers fuel consumption and reduces harmful emissions.

OXE DEFA engine preheating system is fully compatible with the entire DEFA range.

OXE CoastKey System is an innovative multifunctional system that provides an engine start/stop remote controller and a wireless engine kill switch with available remote functions such as tilt, anchor windlass or thruster controls.

OXE CoastKey performs a crucial function by acting as an engine kill switch. When worn by the captain, it switches off the engine(s) within two seconds if he/she falls overboard. Traditional engine kill switches require the captain to be tethered to the helm. CoastKey provides a wireless connection, so you don’t have to choose between comfort, freedom and safety.

• Start and stop up to 4 engines at once or individually
• A PIN code unlocks the OXE CoastKey System and gives access to all functions. The PIN code is set by the boat owner. (The Remote Control Unit overrides the PIN code required to unlock the OXE CoastKey System from the Panel Unit)

The OXE Electronic Control system delivers precise control of a boat’s shift and throttle functions. The actuators link to the control head through a single CANbus harness - for easy routing and fast installation. Adding multiple control stations is easy by adding a single harness. All The OXE Electronic Control system kits come with all components needed for an installation, including a power harness, and 30 feet of network harness.
